Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles in a middle-class family. The actress grew up with big dreams. Her best roles include the film about spying, Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and the drama Precious. Her early years were lived in Los Angeles where she came from a middle class family. Her mother loved films and instilled a love of films into the young girl. Paula participated in co-curricular programs at her school and loved drama. Paula enjoyed acting with her friends and was a part of school productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School provided her with numerous opportunities to be an actor during her high school years and she decided to pursue acting as a career. She went to in the University of Southern California for the Summer Program, and she loved it. The program was awarded to her by PBS to make documentaries for a period of three months. She started her career as a television production assistant after completing this assignment. In the following years, she transitioned to produce documentaries. Although she was awed by working in the field, she was aspired to become an actress. In the romantic comedy Hitch she played a tiny role alongside Will Smith. In the years since, she's been in a variety of popular films as well as TV series.
