Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had many skills, such as being able to direct, act and produce plays, as well as write them teaching, as well as be the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the child of a British father and an English-Turkish Cypriot mother. She appeared in many commercials when she was a child. Anna was transferred to Toronto in 1999 to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting training workshop held in 2007. The two were engaged by 2009.
